The progressive energy mix – and in particular the electric solution – is part of the panoply of actions that should enable us to achieve the goal of decarbonizing our transport activities with our own fleet by 42% over the period 2021-2030, bearing in mind that we had already reduced emissions from the same perimeter by more than 20% over the past decade.
At the end of 2023, we took the decision, with our partner Nestlé, to put the first Malherbe electric vehicle on the road for round trips between Normandy and the Paris region.
May 16, 2025 marks the inauguration of our very first electric charging station for heavy goods vehicles.
It was with the Renault Trucks plant that we embarked on a large-scale decarbonization plan, working jointly with Renault and Volvo. We very quickly came up with the idea of taking the E-Truck out of city centers, and we shared the desire to project it over medium to long distances. In other words, 400 to 750 kms/day.
Our partner Volvo Trucks has delivered 9 Volvo FH AERO Electric tractors and 2 Volvo FL Electric rigids to our Mondeville (14) site.

Our stations respond to two constraints: autonomy and the availability of recharging points. These first stations have enabled us to control our costs and offer a “short circuit” price per kw/h, giving us an even more refined economic approach to controlling our energy costs.
Our terminals are located at our Mondeville site, as well as in Quimper (29), Bailleul (72), Moissy (77) and Bapaume (62). These first 5 stations will all be operational by summer 2025.
This will be followed by stations in Vironvay (27), Mâcon (71). By the end of the year, we’ll have 7 stations and around 40 to 50 e-Trucks.
We would like to thank our operational, technical and driver teams, as well as Nestlé, Renault Trucks, Volvo and Autorecharge for their indispensable partnership.
